Castle & Hotel in Neuhausen near the Ore Mountains
The Purschenstein Castle is one of the oldest castles in Saxony. The castle is located on a wonderful country estate, surrounded by untouched nature in the romantic Flöha valley, directly on the old Bohemian Trail.
Centuries ago, the Purschenstein Castle flanked the old salt road from Halle to Prague. Today, the Erzgebirge-Vogtland ridge trail, popular with hikers, runs directly through the castle park.
Not only in the 4-star castle hotel, but also in the former financial administration RENTAMT and above the castle restaurant REMISE, guests have the opportunity to spend the night in a stately manner. In addition, the hotel complex includes a castle park, which encloses a series of idyllic natural ponds.
Since 2005, Purschenstein has been privately owned by the Praagman family, who have lavishly and lovingly restored the castle in this truly lovely hotel in the Ore Mountains.
